Eyes are complex and delicate. Taking proper care of them, with a healthy diet and regular checks, can help to keep your eyes in the best of health.
Why eye health matters
The number of people who are short sighted or long-sighted has increased in the past ten years and vision disorders now affect more than half of the Australian population. Most of these problems can be corrected with prescription glasses or contact lenses. Regular checks with a qualified optometrist are vital to maintain eye health, and can identify and treat any underlying eye conditions early. A healthy diet also has a role to play in eye health.
