Anxiety

Access Gap Cover (AGC)
- Designed to reduce or eliminate the medical ‘gap’. The aim is for you to end up with minimal, or in some cases, no out-of-pocket medical expenses when you receive treatment at a private hospital as an inpatient.
- Not all doctors take part in the AGC scheme, and those who do may not list it on their website.
- Check the search engine to find a doctor who may participate, or who has agreed to alternative ‘no gap’ arrangements. You’ll still need to ask the doctor if they’ll treat you under our CBHS Access Gap Cover arrangement.
Asthma

- The Health Hubs are free on-site health centres for CommBank employees, contractors and visitors with a full calendar of face-to-face and digital programs and events, including live cooking demonstrations, one-on-one health consultations, automated health risk checks, webinars and other vital health screenings.
Colonoscopy

- Our CBHS Choice Network is made up of thousands of dental providers who are committed to providing exceptional treatment to CBHS members while reducing or removing the gap for Extras services on preventative dental treatments.

Joint replacement
- For hip and knee replacements, you may be able to access a no-gap short stay joint replacement program through East Sydney Private Hospital. Spend less time in hospital and be back in your own home sooner.
