Search for a health professional by name or enter a specialist field and the name or postcode of your city. Enter your insurer - CBHS Health Fund – and Healthshare will list all the specialists in your chosen area. They will confirm if the specialist participates – or has ever participated - in CBHS Access Gap Cover.

Healthshare can save you out-of-pocket expenses

Doctors and other health specialists can choose to participate in our Access Gap Cover scheme. That’s why finding a specialist who’s willing to participate can save you paying out-of-pocket expenses.

Here's a handy list of questions you can ask your specialist:

• Are you willing to treat me under the CBHSAccess Gap Cover arrangements?
• Will I incur any personal out-of-pocket expenses for my treatment and if so, can you give me a written estimate of how much?
• Will any assisting doctors also use CBHS’s Access Gap Cover?
• Are you prepared to send the bill to my fund directly, so they can claim my Medicare benefit on my behalf and send the payment back to you?
